Thrad

Thrad is an AI-native advertising platform that places contextual ads inside conversational AI products. Where paid search has always worked against a results page, Thrad works inside the answer itself, matching a brand to the substance of what a person is actually asking about at the moment they ask it.

The company operates both sides of that market. Advertisers and agencies buy through Thrad, the DSP for LLMs, reaching audiences across a network of AI publishers rather than a single closed environment. Publishers with any type of chat interface use Thrad’s SSP to earn revenue from their conversations without interrupting the experience.

Thrad was founded to answer a question the industry has been circling since assistants started absorbing commercial intent: if people stop clicking, how do brands stay present in the moment of decision, and how do the publishers hosting that moment get paid. Campaigns run self-serve or through a managed service, with formats built for the medium, with a careful consideration for inventory quality, brand safety, delivery transparency, pricing and the measurement standards.

Beyond the platform, Thrad convenes the market it is helping to build. It is a founding member of AgenticAdvertising.org, hosted the inaugural Sponsored Intelligence Summit in London in 2026, and runs the Advertising Museum, "a place to rediscover advertising and to celebrate its craft".
